1. Getting Started

Accessing the Dashboard

1. Log in to your WWBOTA account at wwbota.net
2. Navigate to the Awards section
3. Your personal awards dashboard will load automatically

What You'll See

The dashboard displays your progress for:

• Hunter Lifetime Award - Track your unique foreign bunker contacts
• Activator B2B Lifetime Award - Monitor your bunker-to-bunker QSOs
• Winterfest 2026 - Monitor your bunker-to-bunker QSOs

2. Understanding Your Dashboard

Award Cards

Each award displays:

• Award Title - Click the title to see all award levels (ℹ️ icon indicates clickable)
• Current Level Badge - Your current achievement tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.)
• Statistics Cards - Three key metrics:
  • Unique Foreign Bunkers or B2B QSOs - Your total count
  • Current Level - Your current achievement tier
  • To Next - Points needed to reach the next level (or "Max" if at highest level)

Progress Bar

The colour-coded progress bar shows your journey through all levels:

• Bronze
• Silver
• Gold
• Platinum
• Diamond
• Master I
• Master II
• Master III

Scheme Breakdown

• All Schemes - Full list showing all countries/schemes you've worked
• Your Top 5 (Grid View) - Quick view of your most-worked schemes
• Each scheme shows: Flag emoji, scheme name, and count

Award Badges

Visual badges display for each level you've achieved, showcasing your accomplishments.

3. View Options

Choose from three layout options to suit your preference:

📋 Desk View (Default)

Best for: Detailed analysis and full statistics

• Large, detailed cards for each award
• Full-sized badge graphics (150px)
• Complete scheme breakdown
• All statistics visible at once
• Winterfest awards displayed side-by-side

When to use: Desktop viewing, detailed progress tracking

🧱 Grid View

Best for: Quick overview and comparison

• Compact cards showing all awards at once
• Mini progress bars
• Top 5 schemes only
• Side-by-side comparison
• Smaller badges (90px)

When to use: Mobile devices, quick progress check

🔲 Sidebar View

Best for: Navigation and focus

• Sidebar navigation for switching between awards
• One award displayed at a time with full details
• Clean, app-like interface
• Large, focused view of selected award

When to use: When you want to focus on one award at a time

4. Understanding Progress Bars

How to Read the Progress Bar

• Empty segments (white) - Levels not yet achieved
• Partially filled segments - Your current level in progress
• Fully filled segments - Completed levels (marked with 🏆 on desktop)

Colour Progression

The colours flow from warm metallics (bronze/silver/gold) through cool tones (platinum/diamond) to achievement greens (Master levels).

Progress Calculation

• Each segment represents a tier
• The fill shows your progress within that tier
• Trophy icons appear when a tier is 100% complete

5. Award Level Information

Viewing Award Levels

• Desktop: Click on any award title to open the levels popup
• Mobile: Tap on any award title to open the levels popup

The Levels Popup Shows:

• Colour-coded swatch matching the progress bar
• Level name (Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.)
• Exact requirement for each level

Hunter Lifetime Levels

• Bronze: 100 unique foreign bunkers
• Silver: 250 unique foreign bunkers
• Gold: 500 unique foreign bunkers
• Platinum: 1,000 unique foreign bunkers
• Diamond: 1,500 unique foreign bunkers
• Master I: 2,000 unique foreign bunkers
• Master II: 2,500 unique foreign bunkers
• Master III: 3,000 unique foreign bunkers

Activator B2B Lifetime Levels

• Bronze: 50 B2B QSOs
• Silver: 100 B2B QSOs
• Gold: 250 B2B QSOs
• Platinum: 500 B2B QSOs
• Diamond: 750 B2B QSOs
• Master I: 1,000 B2B QSOs
• Master II: 1,250 B2B QSOs

Closing the Popup

• Click the × button in the top-right corner
• Click anywhere outside the popup
• Click another award title

Scrolling Through Levels

• The popup is scrollable if all levels don't fit on screen
• Scroll freely within the popup to view all levels
• Works on both desktop and mobile

6. Customizing Your Theme

Opening Theme Setup

Click the ⚙️ Theme Setup button at the top-right of the page.

Colour Customization

Hue Slider (0-360°):

• Drag to select any colour from the full spectrum
• Red → Orange → Yellow → Green → Blue → Purple → Red
• Live preview updates as you adjust

Brightness Slider (20-70%):

• Adjust from light to dark
• Lower values = darker theme
• Higher values = lighter theme

Preview Your Theme

The "Your Current Theme" box shows your selected colour in real-time.

Saving Your Theme

Your theme preferences are saved automatically and will persist across sessions.

Closing Theme Setup

Click the × button or click outside the panel.

7. Claiming Your Awards

When to Claim

You can claim an award once you've reached any tier level (Bronze or higher).

How to Claim

1. Click the 🏆 CLAIM AWARDS button at the top of the page
2. You'll be taken to the award claims submission page
3. Follow the instructions to submit your claim
4. Claims are processed by the WWBOTA team

What You Need

• Achievement of the tier level you're claiming
• Submission through the official claims page
• Compliance with WWBOTA award rules
• A WWBOTA record with the required score

Mobile Optimizations

• Responsive layout - All views adapt to your screen size
• Touch-friendly - Large tap targets for easy interaction
• Simplified display - Trophy icons hidden for cleaner view
• Full-width buttons - Easy to tap on small screens

• Use Grid View for quickest overview
• Tap award titles to view level requirements

• Tap an award title to open levels

Keyboard Navigation

• Use Tab to navigate between interactive elements

Troubleshooting

Tooltip won't close:

• Click the × button in the top-right of the tooltip
• Click anywhere outside the tooltip

Progress not updating:

• Refresh your browser
• Clear cache if needed
• Ensure you're logged in

Mobile buttons overlapping:

• Try rotating your device
• Refresh the page
• Update your browser

Theme not saving:

• Check that cookies/localStorage are enabled
• Try a different browser
• Clear browser cache

Q: How often is my progress updated?

A: Your dashboard displays live data from the WWBOTA database. Refresh the page to see the latest updates.

Q: Can I see other users' progress?

A: No, the dashboard shows only your personal achievements. It's visible only when you're logged in.

Q: What if I don't see the Master III badge graphic?

A: The Master III badge graphic is being added. Once uploaded, it will appear automatically when you achieve that level.

Q: Can I print my awards dashboard?

A: Yes, use your browser's print function. Desk View is recommended for printing.

Q: Will my theme carry over to other devices?

A: Theme preferences are stored locally, so you'll need to set your preferred theme on each device/browser.
